The Micro Cirrus has been designed to create a small particle size for alveolar deposition.
If alveolar deposition is required then the Micro Cirrus nebuliser is ideal for providing a small particle aerosol. At a flow rate of 8L/min the Micro Cirrus will provide 90% of the aerosol volume with particles less than 2 microns.
For patients who are able to co-ordinate their breathing, a Micro Cirrus mouthpiece may be used for drug delivery; this increases trhe amount of aerosol reaching the lungs, and heightens the level of deposition.
The kit is supplied with mouthpiece/t-kit, Micro Cirrus nebuliser and crush resistant tube.
